2023 WINTER RECREATION PROGRAM INFORMATION

The RVSC Winter Recreation program is a skill development program that compliments the Fall League. The program strives to teach and enhance fundamental soccer skills and play tactics. The program is designed to meet the needs of the first-time soccer player, as well as the experienced but casual player, all in a fun-filled learning environment.

Objectives:

*Develop and enhance age-appropriate foundational skills & techniques

*Learn field positioning and tactical play skills

*Understand the basic rules of the game

*Build confidence as a player and a teammate  

*HAVE FUN!!!

Eligibility:

Boys & Girls, Pre-K thru 6th Grade.
*Must be at least 4 years old to participate*

Skill Level:

Beginner to experienced recreational players are welcome. Please note that Competitive League players are not eligible for this program

Format:

All grades have ONE session every SUNDAY that combines skill instruction and scrimmage play.

All sessions are held SUNDAY afternoons in January and February, either at 1:15-2:15pm, 2:30-3:30pm, or 3:45-4:45pm.

Cancelled sessions due to weather or school events will not be rescheduled or refunded.

2023 Dates:
SUNDAYS: 1/8, 1/15, 1/22, 1/29, 2/5, 2/12, 2/19, 2/26.

2023 Times:
Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st Grade: 1:15pm-2:15pm
2nd & 3rd Grade: 2:30pm-3:30pm
4th thru 6th Grade: 3:45pm-4:45pm.

Location:

All sessions are held at the St. Lawrence Center Indoor Bubble, 115 Torne Valley Rd, Hillburn, NY 10931.

Uniform:

Players are required to have a complete recreation uniform that consists of: 1 red jersey, 1 white jersey, black shorts & black socks from our club apparel website. Full uniforms or replacement items should be ordered by March 15th. Players may wear a uniform from a previous recreation season.

Registration & Costs:

• Early Registration (thru 9/30): $75
• Regular Registration (10/1-11/30): $100
• Late Registration (after 11/30): $125

Registration closes on 1/15 for all age groups.

Registrations may be cancelled for full refunds thru 11/30. Refund requests after 11/30 will result in a credit towards a future RVSC program.

All uniform orders are FINAL and not eligible for refunds.
